Maybe I can get some ideas, or answers. My daughter is an incoming 3rd year AB Journ but she wanted to shift to Lit. Her GPA is 2.5 and she was initially told by the the counsellor that she'll be accepted, but was denied by the Dean. What would be the reason for denying my kid who really want to shift since she realized this is what she wants. Also, when she was told by someone at the AB office she was not given the reason for her non-acceptance to Literature. Isn't that our basic right to know? If someone punches me outside there's a preety darn good reason for it and the guy would certainly tell me what. But UST? Is this a normal thing for a Catholic University to simply tell a student that he/she didn't make it? By the way, me and my wife are prducts of UST hence our daughter is enrolled here too. Thinking of all the good values that we got in school. Now, what gives?

This is not the best place to look for answers. Don't take it personally because your daughter could've been denied permission to transfer for a multitude of reasons. If I were you, I'd go directly to the Dean's office.
I'll leave you with an announcement from Faculty Secretary, sir Doma:

So just like that: various reasons. I'm supposed to simply swallow this lame excuse. Well, thank you for trying to give an explanation. I'm currently out of the country, how I wish I could write to someone from AB admin. Tried this before with a simple query but nobody replied. Disappointing to say the least.
