According to this article, UST is being considered as a one of the possible venues of the next Bar since the contract with DLSU has lapsed... Are you in favor of holding the bar inside the campus?Bar exams: UST o AdU?

UP-Diliman offered their campus to SC to serve as testing site... I think it's better for SC to follow the practice of PRC in conducting exams... that is to put testing sites in different cities so the examinees, especially those from the provinces, won't have to go to Manila and spend a fortune in lodging...

I'd rather have the Bar Exams be held on neutral ground, meaning in a campus where there is no College of Law. I know that it's pushing it too far, but by doing that, it symbolizes the ideals of Justice, which is impartial.
I'd rather have the Bar Exams be held in a place near the Supreme Court. The PICC has enough rooms to accomodate the examinees. Its almost the same distance as that of the DLSU campus. Plus, traffic wouldn't have to be rerouted because there is ample road space and parking in the vicinity of CCP.
SM MOA SMX is also an ideal place. UP Diliman is an ok testing site, but its too far from the Supreme Court. Transport of examination papers will be quite a hassle.
Though that it feels like its quite an honor to think that the Supreme Court is eyeing UST as a testing venue, the fact that the date of the exams is scheduled during september wherein it is smacked in the middle of the rainy season and the floods in the UST environs is quite a drag.

UST is new bar exam venue 5:25 p.m., January 20
UST WILL be the new venue of this year’s bar examinations, which will take place in November or two months later than usual. Faculty of Civil Law Dean Nilo Divina said the Supreme Court had decided to transfer the bar exam to UST in November, after the rainy season. This gives aspiring lawyers have more time to review.
Divina said a November exam is a "more conducive date" because it marks the end of the rainy season.
“Its perfect and very timely since it coincides with our quadricentennial year,” Divina added. The implementation of a multiple-choice exam will also start this year, as earlier proposed by former Civil Law dean Roberto Abad, now associate justice at the Supreme Court.
“The first three Sundays will be allotted to the multiple-choice questions while the fourth will be dedicated to the essays,” Divina said.
Divina said a contract has been signed between UST and the Supreme Court, which makes the campus the exam venue only for this year.
“We’re not yet sure for next year but I’m sure UST is a priority. The contract should be subject to acceptable terms and conditions,” Divina said.
Safer venue
The Supreme Court picked UST over Adamson University and the Philippine International Convention Center after De La Salle University declined to host the bar exams this year.
Court spokesman Midas Marquez said the transfer had nothing to do with the grenade blast that injured 45 people in last year's exams.
Divina said UST is a “safer” venue and has better facilities to cover the 5,000 bar examinees each year.
“The University has a lot of space for the students. Bar takers can be better prepared and conditioned because we have the Santissimo Rosario Parish and the UST Hospital just in case,” Divina said.
Last year, 5,012 law graduates took the test, including 172 Thomasians. The Faculty of Civil Law got a 54.65 percent passing rate last year, ranking as the seventh top-performing law school in the country. Darenn G. RodriguezVarsitarian
